Flat construction for extra grip on your baits.

Unscented so not to diffuse the attraction leaking out of your hook bait.

Using floss helps to keep your pop up more buoyant due to the pop up not being pierced with a baiting needle allowing water to soak into the pop up.

Gently heat the floss, by licking the edge of a flame around it, after you have tied on your hook bait (try to do this without burning the pop up!). This makes the floss slightly transparent and shrinks the material, securing the loop in place.
